Mondays are for Miracles

Our Monday Miracle Children are….

Jack & Luke!

At 16 weeks gestation, Jennifer and David discovered one of their unborn sons, Jack, had no amniotic fluid. They were told his lungs would not be able to develop and to prepare for the worst. Jennifer began having contractions nearly half way through her pregnancy and was admitted to the hospital a few weeks later. Doctors feared Jack would never take a breath, but thought if Jennifer could make it to 24 weeks Luke would have a 50/50 chance of survival. A true miracle, the twins were born eight weeks later weighing 2 lbs. 11 ounces and 2 lbs. 13 ounces. They were immediately placed in the NICU transporter purchased through CMN funds and taken to Wolfson Children’s Hospital. The boys made a miraculous turnaround in just a few days and seven weeks later the entire family was able to go home for the first time. Today, the boys are doing great. They love Mario Brothers, swimming and pancakes!
